The majority of the village is houses where people, shifters or human, live. Most houses are made out of stone or wood and are only a few rooms big. Most aren't more than one story, though it isn't uncommon for the houses to have basements. The normally have tiles, stones, or sticks and stray making up their roofs. They normally have small yards with short fences, and mainly they'll have a produce garden in their yard. Some of the yards have dirt floor and some have grass. Mainly dirt. There are dirt roads connecting the houses.
